Since its inception in 1877, Jamia Shamsul Hoda As Salfia (Trust) has been a steadfast bastion of Islamic education in the eastern region of India. The core work of the Jamia Shamsul Hoda As-Salfia Trust is to provide students with a robust Islamic education. This comprehensive curriculum encompasses the study of Arabic, the Quran, Hadith, and other valuable Islamic texts and history. 

Acknowledging the importance of a well-rounded education from basic primary to master (Fazil), the trust takes a progressive approach by including modern subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and Hindi within its curriculum. This forward-thinking approach equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage effectively with contemporary challenges and opportunities.

The trust’s commitment to holistic education extends to providing a residential system for approximately 1292 students, both boys and girls, who reside in hostels on the campus. This unique feature not only ensures their access to quality education but also offers them a nurturing environment where they receive free food and accommodations. This supportive setting fosters not just academic growth but also personal and character development.
